About My Projects:
I have been rethinking the way I approach performance.  I once tried to play as many gigs as possible, but recently I'm slowing that down and putting more time into developing the music at a higher level.


High Summer
This is one of my main projects, with Miriam Bernardo (vocals), Deva Racusin (sax and percussion), Gordon Clark (trombone), Pat Ormiston (bass), and Jason Thyme (drums).  I've been writing a bunch of songs for this band.  We've been rehearsing and writing.  We're currently recording an album, and we'll resume performing in March.

The Quarry Project
This is a large dance piece by Hannah Dennison.  I'm composing and directing the music.  It's a very ambitious, site-specific, multi performance project.  I'll send you to her website because I can't explain it in a brief sentence.

Myra Flynn and Flynn
This is Myra's nuanced and dynamic "indie soul" band.  She plays a ton of shows when she comes home to VT every few months, but only a few are with the full band, so they're pretty special.  She books us at great venues, and you're likely to hear me on a nice piano at these.

The Andric Severance Xtet
This is my Latin Jazz quartet.  Fire.  Drum solos.  Featuring Caleb Bronz (drums), Scott Dean (percussion), and Giovanni Rovetto.  We play original tunes, as well as quartet arrangements of big classic salsa songs from the Fania era.
