About My Projects:
I have been rethinking the way I approach performance.  I once tried to play as many gigs as possible, but recently I'm slowing that down and putting more time into developing the music at a higher level.


High Summer
This is one of my main projects, with Miriam Bernardo (vocals) and Deva Racusin co-directing.  It's a big band with horns and original music.

The Quarry Project
This is a large dance piece by Hannah Dennison.  I composed and directed the music, and I produced an album drawn largely from live recordings made in the quarry.   It was quite an undertaking.  It's a very ambitious, site-specific, multi performance project.  I'll send you to her website because I can't explain it in a brief sentence.  Currently, there is an installation at the Kent Museum called Quarry Echoes, every Fri-Sun in June.  You can hear the music there, and you can buy it by contacting me:  [email protected]

Myra Flynn and Flynn
This is Myra's nuanced and dynamic "indie soul" band.  She plays a ton of shows when she comes home to VT every few months, but only a few are with the full band, so they're pretty special.  She books us at great venues, and you're likely to hear me on a nice piano at these.

Latin Jazz!  This is my small band, with a variable number of players.  Usually four.  I play the hell out of the piano and sing.
